Integris Group Donates Over $13,000 to Charitable Organizations on Behalf of Members

GLASTONBURY, CT – Integris Group, formerly named CMIC, a leading member-owned medical professional liability insurance company, recently donated over $13,000 on behalf of its members to five charitable organizations.

Earlier this year, Integris Group, then known as CMIC Group, pledged to donate funds for every member’s completed proxy vote ahead of the Company’s Annual Meeting of Members. This December, the donations were distributed to The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, a Connecticut-based camp for children suffering from serious illnesses, and the Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women's Cancer Center at Milford Regional Medical Center in Massachusetts, which provides top quality care for cancer patients. 

“As a company led and owned by our physician members, the mission of these two organizations resonates with our own,” said Stephen J. Gallant, CEO of Integris Group. “We are grateful for the work these two organizations provide to the communities they serve.”

In addition, for the third year in a row, Integris Group has also donated to three charitable organizations in lieu of sending holiday cards. The recipients include the Connecticut Food Bank, an organization that distributes food throughout a network of community-based programs in Connecticut, Doctors Without Borders, which provides medical care to those most in need across the world, and Make-a-Wish Foundation, which strives to grant the wish of every child diagnosed with a critical illness.
