Integris Risk Retention Group, Inc. Rebrands from CMIC RRG and Announces Additional Updates Following the Annual Meeting of Members

GLASTONBURY, CT – Integris Risk Retention Group, Inc. (“Integris RRG”), formerly named CMIC RRG, a leading member-owned medical professional liability insurance company, recently rebranded the Company to better reflect its position in the Integris family. The new name took effect on June 1, 2022. Founded by doctors in 2010, Integris RRG has the financial backing of Integris Group and is managed by the same Integris Group executive team.
 
“As with the rebranding of Integris Group from CMIC Group, the new name of the RRG captures the growth of the Company as well as our vision for the future,” said Stephen J. Gallant, Chief Executive Officer.
 
In conjunction with the rebrand, Integris RRG members now have access to additional member benefits. One such benefit, Legacy Rewards, provides eligible members with an annual contribution to their Legacy Rewards account. The Legacy Rewards continue accruing each year that the member remains insured with the Company. The full account balance is then distributed to the member upon a qualifying event, such as their full retirement from the practice of medicine.

Expansion into New York
On July 1, 2022, Integris RRG will begin actively writing medical professional liability insurance in the state of New York.

Annual Meeting of Members
Integris RRG held their Annual Meeting of Members on Friday, June 10, 2022. During the meeting, Dr. John Hornby was re-elected to the Integris RRG Board of Directors for a three-year term.

Dr. Hornby is board certified in Ophthalmology and is currently in private practice in Old Saybrook, CT. He has been an Integris Group Director since 2006 and currently serves as President and Chairman of the Integris Group Board of Directors as well as Vice President of the Integris RRG Board of Directors.
